  • Preached these missions in: England, Scotland, Wales, America, South Africa, Kenya, Borneo, Malaysia, Philippines, Ireland.


  • Now I continue writing, and preaching Eucharistic Healing Missions.

  • Before joining the Redemptorists I served my time in Drapery & Footwear for 15 years.


  • I joined the Redemptorists at 32 years of age.


  • After Profession I spent 3 years in Rome.


  • I spent 12 years travelling Ireland promoting our magazine ‘Reality’, then 8 years the Redemptorist Retreat House in Limerick promoting weekend retreats where I visited parishes and preached at all masses over the weekend.


  • Since 1988 I am stationed at Mount Saint Alphonsus where I am responsible for Hospitality and Reception.

  • Ministered in Brazil for more than twenty years after ordination On returning to Ireland worked on missions and novenas and was vocation director for about ten years.

  • After ordination I worked on the missions in the west of Ireland.


  • Shortly after I arrived in Clonard, Belfast and joined the staff of Redemptorist Publications. When we moved the publishing to Marianella, Dublin, I edited the ‘Redemptorist Record’ for a number of years.


  • After Vatican II with the assistance of a lay board of associate editors, I was founding editor of ‘Reality’.


  • In 1968 I went to the West Indies on a mission and lecture tour and later that year I went to the USA where I was engaged in University teaching for over 30 years.


  • I have lived here in Mount Saint Alphonsus since returning to Ireland.

  • Then I worked on the Limerick Church Team until I retired in 1998.


  • Now I help out with confessions and maintain the Oratories in the Monastery.

  • I spent 5 years in the Redemptorist Juvenate in Limerick; Novitiate in Dundalk, professed in 1942.


  • Appointed to India as a student with 4 other Irish students to join the first group of Indian and Singhalese students in the inauguratory Indian Studendate.


  • I was novice master in India from 1956 – 1962.


  • After this I was engaged on Mission and Retreats in many towns and parishes of India and Sri Lanka.


  • I returned to Ireland in the early 1970’s. After 5 years as 2nd Curate in Dundalk, I was Director of the men’s Confraternity in Limerick for a further 5 years.


  • After a few years as Chaplain in Milford Hospice, Limerick, I retired.
